Cultivate would like to welcome Lisa Sullivan as our newest board member. "Ms.Lisa," as she is affectionately known, is a native of Kansas City, who enjoys mentoring at risk girls and women in their time of need. Lisa has been a leader in nonprofit work in Kansas City Kansas as well as a grant writer and public speaker. She attended Oklahoma College of Construction, graduating as a certified heavy equipment operator in 2005 as the first African American female to do so. Lisa has also attended Wichita State University, Johnson County Community College.
Lisa is also a graduate of the Cultivate Inc. College of Trades program. In 2017 she attended the College of Trades and set an example of leadership within her cohort. Upon completing the College of Trades she began working at Cheesecake Factory in Johnson County. Her leadership was recognized by her superiors and she was promoted multiple times. Today she continues to be passionate about cooking and leading. Currently she is the designated trainer and lead chef at Cheesecake Factory in Memphis, TN.
